Sizing and Care Guide

Alpaca Care

Hand Wash (recommended)
  • Gently hand wash in lukewarm water. Agitation will damage alpaca goods.

  • Rinse well.

  • Wrap in a towel to remove excess water.

  • Dry flat and reshape whilst damp.

  • Dry naturally – it will take 24 hours to air dry properly - NOT on direct heat such as a radiator or aga.

  • DO NOT tumble dry.

  • DO NOT iron.


    • Machine Wash
  • Place the item in a pillow case or net delicates bag.

  • Select a delicate wool cycle (agitation will damage alpaca goods) with a temperature up to 30° C.

  • Use a mild detergent.

  • Wrap in a towel to remove excess water.

  • Dry flat and reshape whilst damp.

  • Dry naturally – it will take 24 hours to air dry properly - NOT on direct heat such as a radiator or aga.

  • DO NOT tumble dry.

  • DO NOT iron.
